Why Join?

BExA helps UK exporters succeed in global markets by promoting their commercial interests, influencing and shaping policy on their behalf, facilitating valuable networks and connections, and providing expert export support.

We act as a bridge for British companies who will benefit from working with government and non-government organisations. We help establish connections that can lead to valuable new business opportunities and collaboration between British companies and potential international partners.

Our members represent the best of the exporting community, including capital goods manufacturers and international traders of all sizes; as well as financiers, trade credit insurers and brokers, legal firms  and other specialist service providers to the exporting community.   Membership of the Association is open to all companies and other organisations resident in the UK who export goods or services, or who provide assistance to such companies in the promotion and support of export activities.

Individual membership is also available with the support of a Council member.Membership of BExA is on an organisation basis, so any number of staff can benefit from its range of member benefits. Membership fees  start at just £180 per year.

EXPORT SUPPORT

Our members receive first-class support to help them excel in international markets. This includes an international trade helpline  manned by specialists in Brexit and EU trade, payment and contracts, export and import documentation, and export control and custom regulations. We can also match you with an international trade advisor.

PEER-TO-PEER LEARNING

We provide opportunities for peer-to-peer learning, allowing members to share their experiences, challenges, and successes.  We publish guides, written by exporters and their services providers.  This collective knowledge enhances the overall capabilities of the UK export community and drives mutual growth.

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

BExA organises regular events and forums, bringing together exporters, export services providers, industry experts, and policymakers. These forums provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, fostering a community of like-minded professionals committed to advancing UK exports.

POLICY ADVOCACY

 BExA actively engages with government bodies to influence trade policy and ensure exporting remains a priority. We represent the interests of members in discussions with policymakers, advocating for a supportive framework that addresses the needs of exporters.

SHAPE TRADE INFRASTRUCTURE

We work to influence the development of physical and logistical infrastructure that supports exporting. By addressing challenges such as transportation, customs, and distribution networks, we help create an environment where UK companies can export efficiently and competitively.

MARKET ACCESS SUPPORT

We assist businesses in overcoming barriers to entry in new markets. This includes guidance on market regulations, cultural considerations, legislation relating to embargoes and sanctions and establishing distribution channels, helping companies to expand their global footprint.

We also offer bespoke membership for service providers of UK exporters with fees starting at £600 per annum.
