Why Join?

BExA helps UK exporters succeed in global markets by promoting their commercial interests, influencing and shaping policy on their behalf, facilitating valuable networks and connections, and providing expert export support.

Our members represent the best of the exporting community, including capital goods manufacturers and international traders of all sizes; as well as financiers, trade credit insurers and brokers, legal firms  and other specialist service providers to the exporting community.   Membership of the Association is open to all companies and other organisations resident in the UK who export goods or services, or who provide assistance to such companies in the promotion and support of export activities.    Individual membership is also available with the support of a Council member.  

Membership of BExA is on an organisation basis, so any number of staff can benefit from its range of member benefits.  Membership fees  start at just £180 per year.

EXPORT SUPPORT

Our members receive first-class support to help them excel in international markets. This includes an international trade helpline  manned by specialists in Brexit and EU trade, payment and contracts, export and import documentation, and export control and custom regulations. We can also match you with an international trade advisor.

REPRESENTATION

BExA represents members’ interests on day-to-day and policy issues relating to UK export and trade policy and on other specific trade and export finance-related issues raised by members.  We meet ministers and Government officials, liaise with other trade associations and obtain press coverage. Our members actively shape our policy positions through several sector-specific sub-committees.

EVENTS & NETWORKING

Meet, exchange views, discuss trade and finance-related challenges and keep updated on policy and trade developments through regular networking events, quarterly industry committee meetings, and seminars on topical issues to support your continual development. BExA also runs an annual Young Exporter and Young Export Financier award.

Raise your profile amongst the export community through our members’ directory, newsletter and social media channels. Use the BExA mark on your marketing materials and promote your services through our member showcase and speaking and sponsorship opportunities.

We also offer bespoke membership for service providers of UK exporters with fees starting at £600 per annum.
