BExA-UKEF presentation - A guide to accessing export finance support from UK Export Finance 

On 7^th June, BExA was delighted to partner with UK Export Finance (UKEF) to deliver an annual product refresher webinar to members and the wider exporting community to provide a better understanding of UKEF’s products, recent changes, and the best route to access finance by UK exporters and their overseas buyers. 

Following introductions to BExA and UKEF, presentations focussed on the different products available to the exporter and the buyer with case studies showcasing how these can support UK businesses and supply chains to achieve export growth in existing and new markets.

For the exporter, UKEF Export Finance Managers gave an overview of the Bond Support Scheme (BSS), Export Working Capital Scheme (EWCS), General Export Facility (GEF) and Export Insurance Policy (EXIP).

On the buyer side, the focus was on the relaunched Bills & Notes Guarantee (BNG) and the Standard Buyer Loan Guarantee (SBLG).
